![]() We got lucky to have found another place, and. I'm growing angry, knowing there would be an issue getting an immediate refund. We both simultaneously started calling other hotels and planning our escape. That drew our attention to the bed, and we seen the bedding had black marks. My wife looks down at the floor and notices a penny under the bed, verifying our suspicion of them not cleaning. I'm thinking these guys don't clean, or they have a bug issue of some sort using a powder substance. The whole time my wife and I are saying " I don't know man!!" As I start to examine the room, first notable, besides the pic tube tv, was a dust line around all base boards and furniture. Turned on the 1985 heater and dust comes flying out. This was like a blast from the past, that literally could have been cleaned years ago. Head up to the room, walk in and it's freezing cold, but that's not what stopped me. Ughhhh!!!!! Okay, go back and finally get checked in. Bank says yeah we see the attempts, but they have wrong exp. After 30 minutes with the bank making sure I'm not an Identity Fraud Victim of something. This causes me to check my account, and of course, no alerts or obvious reasons to decline any transaction. ![]() Upon check in, the front desk gal keeps telling me my card is declined. ![]()
